Throughout this policy, we use the term "personal information" to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not identify a specific user.
In order to provide the Services to you, we may collect certain personal information about you such as your name, address, financial information (such as bank account and routing numbers and credit cards linked to your account), email address or telephone number when you register for an account with us. We may also collect this information in the course of providing product support. We may collect this information directly from you, or, in the case of a user of the Total Dispatch mobile app, from an entity that has represented to us that it has the authority to share your personal information.
We may also collect other personal information about you when you provide it to us voluntarily, including, without limitation, by filling out a form or survey or by e-mailing us. If you do not want us to collect personal information about you, you can decide not to submit it to us, but be aware that we may not be able to provide you with the Services if we do not collect certain information from you.
Please note that in order to use the full capabilities of the Total Dispatch mobile app, we will need to collect your precise geolocation information. If you turn off our ability to collect this data, we may not be able to provide the Services to you.
We use the information which is provided to provide you with the Services and other products and services you have requested, to help us improve our services to you, to inform you about additional products or services that may be of interest to you, and for other internal purposes. We also may share your information among the different individuals associated with your account or the account of your Dispatcher. For example, if you are field service provider with a Total Dispatch mobile app, we may share your name and geolocation with the entity that dispatches jobs to you. You may also choose to share certain information with others on your account or the account of your Dispatcher through the Total Dispatch messaging system.
We may send certain mandatory service communications such as welcome letters, billing reminders, information on technical service issues, and security announcements. We may also use your information to conduct research, analysis, or studies for our own purposes. We may also use your information for other purposes with your consent or as permitted or required by law.
We will use reasonable practices to protect your personal information. While we will use such efforts, we cannot ensure the security of your personal information. Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our control.
We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. When disclosing any personal information, you should remain mindful of the fact that it is potentially accessible to the public, and consequently, can be collected and used by others without your consent. Vestigo has no responsibility or liability for the security of information transmitted via the Internet.
To Provide Products or Services. We may share your information as necessary to provide you with products, services, or information you have requested.
Service Providers. We may share your information with companies controlled by, under common control with, or controlling Vestigo. In our efforts to provide the best quality service and experience to you, we may hire service providers (including affiliates acting in this capacity) to help us with our business, for example to provide assistance with packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customer questions about products or services, sending mail and processing event registration. Vestigo will provide these companies with the information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose than for delivering the Services to us in accordance with our instructions and policies.
Legal Proceeding or Potential Legal Proceedings. We may share your information with others as required by, or permitted by, law. This may include sharing your personal information with governmental entities, or third parties in response to subpoenas, court orders, other legal process, or as we believe is necessary to exercise our legal rights, to defend against legal claims that have been brought against us, or to defend against possible legal claims that we determine in our sole discretion might be brought against us.
In Order to Protect Rights, Property, and Safety; and to Report Unlawful Activity. We may also share your personal information if we determine, in our sole judgment, that the release of your information may protect the rights, property, or safety of you, us, or another person. We may also report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we reasonably believe to be unlawful, or that we reasonably believe may aid a law enforcement investigation.
In Cases of Sales, Mergers, or Acquisition. If Vestigo becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, your information may be provided to the entities and advisors involved, who will each use such information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
In Aggregate Form. We may aggregate your data with the data from other users and use this for future analysis. If we do so, we will de-identify your data so that it cannot be used to easily identify you. We may sell to third parties or publish this aggregated, anonymized data.
We do not want, and our Services are not designed to solicit, information from children under 18.
You may "opt-out" of receiving electronic communications (e.g., emails) or mailings by following the instructions in those communications or mailings. You may also contact us at the below email address and/or physical address if you decide at any time to stop receiving emails or other communications from us, but please note that you may not have access to the full range of Services if you do so.
If we need, or are required, to contact you concerning any event that involves your information we may do so by e-mail, telephone, or mail.
Some web browsers and devices permit you to broadcast a preference that you not be "tracked" online. At this time we do not modify your experience based upon whether such a signal is broadcast. If you turn off “tracking” you may not be able to use the Services.
