What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Collect It?

Throughout this policy, we use the term "personal information" to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not identify a specific user.

In order to provide the Services to you, we may collect certain personal information about you such as your name, address, financial information (such as bank account and routing numbers and credit cards linked to your account), email address or telephone number when you register for an account with us. We may also collect this information in the course of providing product support. We may collect this information directly from you, or, in the case of a user of the Total Dispatch mobile app, from an entity that has represented to us that it has the authority to share your personal information.

We may also collect other personal information about you when you provide it to us voluntarily, including, without limitation, by filling out a form or survey or by e-mailing us. If you do not want us to collect personal information about you, you can decide not to submit it to us, but be aware that we may not be able to provide you with the Services if we do not collect certain information from you.

Please note that in order to use the full capabilities of the Total Dispatch mobile app, we will need to collect your precise geolocation information. If you turn off our ability to collect this data, we may not be able to provide the Services to you.

We may also use tracking software and similar technology to automatically collect information about your computer or device hardware and software, and your use of the Services. This information may include details about your visits to our website or use of the Total Dispatch mobile app, the resources you access, date and time stamps, unique identifiers, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, referring website addresses, application activity logs and error logs, and information about your use of our Services. We use technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information about the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on the Total Dispatch mobile app and website. We also employ the use of cookies to assist us in this process. A cookie is a small piece of computer code that enables web servers to identify users. Cookies do not store any information that you have provided to our site. They are simply identifiers. You have the ability to delete cookie files from your hard drive at any time or avoid cookies by configuring your browser to reject them or to notify you when a cookie is being placed on your hard drive. This information may be used by us for the operation of the Services and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Services.

Why Do We Collect This Information and How Do We Use It?

We use the information which is provided to provide you with the Services and other products and services you have requested, to help us improve our services to you, to inform you about additional products or services that may be of interest to you, and for other internal purposes. We also may share your information among the different individuals associated with your account or the account of your Dispatcher. For example, if you are field service provider with a Total Dispatch mobile app, we may share your name and geolocation with the entity that dispatches jobs to you. You may also choose to share certain information with others on your account or the account of your Dispatcher through the Total Dispatch messaging system.

We may send certain mandatory service communications such as welcome letters, billing reminders, information on technical service issues, and security announcements. We may also use your information to conduct research, analysis, or studies for our own purposes. We may also use your information for other purposes with your consent or as permitted or required by law.

Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our control.

We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. When disclosing any personal information, you should remain mindful of the fact that it is potentially accessible to the public, and consequently, can be collected and used by others without your consent.
